This scholarship lets awardees participate in our flagship “Design for Sustainable Urban Mobility Program” co-developed with MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node.

Design for Sustainable Urban Mobility Program
Combining the 118-year rich heritage of HK Tramways with the forward-looking perspective of MIT’s world-class teaching and engineering prowess, the scholarships aim to engage students in discussions about what they want to see in the future of Hong Kong. We also aim to equip them with the software, hardware, and entrepreneurship knowledge they will need to contribute to our city’s digital transformation.
Eligibility & Selection
āEach secondary school can nominate at max. 2 students for the Scholarship.

In selecting nominees, we recommend that schools take the following qualities into consideration:
(a) excellent academics; and/or
(b) contribution to community; and/or
(c) leadership and communication skills; and/or
